I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Georgia (UGA), pursuing my doctoral studies under the esteemed supervision of Dr. Jin Sun. My current research focuses on cutting-edge areas of computer vision, with a particular emphasis on 3D scene reconstruction and multimodal learning. My passion lies in developing innovative algorithms and techniques that push the boundaries of how machines perceive and interpret complex visual environments.
Prior to joining UGA, I received my M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). During my time at CMU, I had the privilege of working in the Visual Intelligence Studio at CyLab, under the guidance of Dr. Yang Cai. My research there focused on 3D reconstruction techniques and the development of Android applications for AR glasses. I completed my B.S. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Control, Robotics, and Autonomous. This foundational education equipped me with a strong background in the principles that underpin modern AI and robotics, setting the stage for my current research in computer vision.
